Lil' Wrangler Tryouts!

After a week of dancing hard at Boot Camp, the kids had tryouts today. I can't believe it is Gloria's last year. I love watching her dance!!! And her partner made captain this year, so she should be doing a lot of dancing.

**Updated: Stephen and his partner made the Elite Prep Team so he will be dancing the same routine with Gloria (on the Elite team) at performances. I am so excited they can be sort of together for her last year!

Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans

We made food and helped decorate/serve food/visit with the Veterans. We always love this event with our 4-H Club. Unfortunately it overlapped with Wranglers Boot Camp, so Gloria and Stephen could not attend.

VBS Week!

It is always a crazy one with all of us helping and attending and needing to be there at 8:30am! It was a great week, and our little sickish girl even managed to make it the last 3 days. She was reunited with her sweet friend, K, from two years ago!

Mariana was the adult music leader. A mom helper shared with me that one of her kindergardners asked "What IS Mariana? Is she a kid....or a mom...or what?" So the leader had to explain what a "Young Adult" is to the child. Mariana is definitely a kid at heart, which makes her perfect for the job. Annie was one of her helpers. Stephen was the game boss again, I co-led First grade, and Gloria helped with 4th. Whew!

Happy July 4th!

I didn't get people photos because I ended up staying home from lunch at Lita's' with Cecilia, who was still feeling badly after a mild virus. Then I left her with Austin while I went to our usual swim and fireworks party with the L family, but I had to leave early since she really wanted me to be home to put her to bed! What a strange holiday. So I have Anastasia's patriotic cookies and peaches for the cobbler I made

The kids had a lot of fun, and our prayers are with all the families in the Texas Hill Country whose plans to celebrate turned into tragic loss.
