Fun with Friends Part 2

Then just four hours after the P family left, the K family arrived to visit for a few days!

"Please stop thundering so we can swim some more!"

The thunder never did let us swim so we came home for dinner and a movie...

And some Karaoke of course!

One last game of Rock, Paper, Scissors

Bye bye K family...we will miss you!

Fun with Friends Part 1

We had two visits by two families who are very dear to us this weekend. The first was our visit with the P family, including our sweet Godson, Allia's Godparents and a baby girl in the womb.

Stephen Patrick fits in just like part of the family!

Wow!

I snuck downstairs after my nap today while everyone was still resting, and suddenly Allia came tiptoeing down to show me she had pulled her loose tooth (Austin pulled the first one for her)...all by herself! What a brave girl!!! Here she is calling Daddy to tell him about it. He is so proud...and of course she gets a trip to Maggie Moos tonight! Yay! (I hope I am invited too!)

Summer fun

The girls scored an ice cream date with Pawpaw, and here they are comparing blue tongues (compliments of the very blue cotton candy ice cream)

Stephen's first time helping with the laundry

And some water fun

Siblings

Feel the love...

VBS week

The two older girls are having a blast at VBS this week, and the rest of us are having some quiet mornings at home and errands. (I helped ahead of time with decorations this year because I didn't think Gloria and Stephen would survive 4 hours in the nursery for a week!)

Our Beach Vacation

We have been at the beach in Port Aransas since Sunday enjoying time with Austin's family...

The girls in their Independence Day garb, ready to go!

Why are two year olds just so darn cute?

Playing Smurfs with Tia Nana

A souvenir from Lolo

The girls loved feeding the seagulls! They also had their first experience boogie boarding. I didn't get photos, but the older two both did great. The waves were big and rough from the nearby tropical depression, but they were brave!

Shrimp Boil

Cousin time with Patrick

Adios!

Thanks to Lito and Lita for providing such an enjoyable vacation for all of us!
