Summer Volleyball

 Anastasia was able to play in a summer volleyball league (with mostly varsity players!) for the month of June. Their final games were this evening, and she got a lot of play time since some of the girls couldn't make it! So proud of her!

Moving Gloria

It is a summer of goodbyes! The program Gloria was accepted under at A&M required moving on campus and attending classes the 2nd Summer session. So we moved her out to start classes this week. It seemed way to soon, but we are excited for her!

Dewberry pie

 She has been begging to turn the dewberries she and her friends picked last month into a pie, but I have been so busy! I was finally able to help her today.

Lil' Wrangler Nationals Trip

 Gloria and I left Wednesday afternoon for our trip to Branson, MO for Nationals. We stopped just across the Arkansas border for the night and finished the trip in the morning. Some of their rehearsals were cancelled. So we found ourselves with extra time and decided to go to a nature park in the mountains to do some walking/hiking and ride horses!

The park spanned the Missouri/Arkansas border so we were able to stand with a foot in each state!

Friday began the focus on competition with their main event late Saturday morning.

SO proud they made it to finals!!!

They won 2nd place overall with some very talented competition. They performed so amazingly. We couldn't have been prouder. It was sad that it was Gloria's last performance, but to go out with such a great experience was absolutely priceless! I will miss watching her dance so much!

Piano Recital

 We had their annual piano recital today. We are very proud of these musicians!

Dance and Etiquette camp

 Cecilia and some friends attended camp this week, learned a lot and had fun too!

4-H State roundup and Scholarship

 Gloria participated in her last 4-H Competition, her team won 3rd place and were recognized on state at the evening assembly, then she and her friend received scholarships the next evening! What a way to finish! We are so proud of her.

Licensed driver

Look out, Stephen is now a licensed driver, and just in time to drive himself to his many summer lifeguarding shifts!
