Fall Piano Recital

We had the girls' recital yesterday where they were able to dress up to match their pieces. It was Gloria's first recital, and Miss Amy played with her. So sweet!

Fun Across the Street

Pawpaw had a shed built in his backyard, and these guys thoroughly enjoyed it while it was still empty!

This little fellow loves climbing into Manah's van and putting on the headphones just like he sees the older kids do. Little copycat!

Little Guy

This cute guy sat here reading for about 15 minutes with his little ankles crossed. He looked so grown up! It was so cute to see and hear him doing all the things I do when I read these books to him, including calling Elmo in Grover's voice. We were trying so hard not to laugh. So precious! Of course, shortly after I started videoing him, he noticed and came to me to read. Then Allia grabbed the camera and did a video of us reading together.

Soccer time

We had another soccer game Saturday, and the team played so well. They really improved this week. They won the game 5-0 with Allia nearly scoring a goal. She had some great passes.

 The younger siblings found a dirt pile in the shade. Anastasia played here the entire hour.

National Night Out

Tuesday evenings are crazy here, so I was tempted to sit this one out. But the children would not accept that. They enjoy this so much and look forward to it every year! So we got there right when it started.

We had planned to stay 45 minutes, then head to Mariana's ice skating. But we didn't know they would have water slides. When it was time to head out she was soaking wet, so we opted to go to make up lessons Saturday and stay for more fun!

 I talked Austin in to a potato sack race. He lost but made a nice effort...what a good hubby!

They had a make your own sno cone truck, and Stephen made this beautiful rainbow one all by himself!

Gloria had gymnastics, which Pawpaw generously chauffeured, and Allia had soccer practice. So we didn't get to be together the whole night, but at least we were there together part of the night. And everyone got to enjoy it for at least a little while. We have such wonderful neighbors, too, so it was great to visit with them while the kids played!

Pumpkin Time!

We made our annual trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday. It was a beautiful evening. It was so precious to see the wonder and amazement in Sebastian's eyes. He loved it and kept saying "Puh-kin" the whole time we were there. He kept picking up the little ones and putting them in our stroller. He even tried to share one with another little girl his size. Sweet boy!

More sports

We are in the thick of fall activities, and Sebastian has decided that he is a fan of baseball. He has me wondering if we will be adding yet another sport to our family reportoire in a few years! For now, it is super cute. Anastasia enjoys helping him too (and sometimes competing with him!).

And in other sports news, Allia's team won their game Saturday 1-0. She played great with some awesome passes and a near miss on a goal!
