Fourth of July!

We spent the day at Lito and Lita's house with lots of family to enjoy, yummy food, and lots of fun!

Anastasia enjoyed her girl cousins, Amelia and Juliette, and Sebastian had a great time with the boy cousins, especially Julian!

Swim trip to Biloxi

Allia returned today (at 12:30AM!) from a trip with the swim team to Biloxi, MS. They went to a surf shop, saw a movie, swam in a 4 day long swim meet, and hit the beach. It was busy, but she had a lot of fun (and not much sleep!).

 

 

 

Cherry pie and cheesecake, Mmmm

Cherries are finally on sale, so I made a cherry pie. And per Pawpaw's request, Mariana made 2 cheesecakes with cherry drizzle. So yummy!

 

Safe Sitter #3

Gloria completed her safe sitter course this afternoon, so we now have 3 qualified babysitters in the family!

Wilderness Camp

Stephen and Anastasia are in Wilderness Survival camp this week in the morning, and they are loving every minute. We signed up with friends so that makes it even better! They have learned what plants are edible, how to build a shelter, build a fire pit and light a fire, how to use mud as camouflage and lots of other fun stuff. Yesterday after pick up they took us on a little trek to show off some of their hard work.

 

 

 

 

Weekend travels (again)

This weekend we had Mariana off to Dallas for Steubenville Lonestar for the weekend on Friday. Then Austin, Stephen and Gloria traveled to a swim meet Saturday.

Mariana had an awesome time on her trip. And our two swimmers did so great. Stephen earned two more "B" times and missed a third one by 1/100 of a second. Gloria got really close in two of her events too!
