First Holy Communion

We had the great joy of celebrating Gloria's First Holy Communion with family and friends this weekend!
I went with her to the dress rehearsal Saturday morning.

We were up bright and early to get ready (especially Gloria, who was up with Lito at 6 because she was so excited!).

 Lito escorted Gloria since they were the first 2 ready so she could be there early and he could save us some seats!

The mass was beautiful. We were able to sit in the pew right behind her. She did beautifully, and it was so great to see that big smile of joy on her face afterwards!

There was a little reception afterwards at the church

 Gloria adores baby Charlotte and has been begging for us to have a baby like her. She got her wish I guess!

We had a party at the house afterward and were blessed with good friends and family to join us!

 Adults chat while the kids run all over the place!

Each child took home a ball for a party favor (got this idea from Lita...she bought these for Mariana's First Communion Party favors, and they were such a hit and so simple!).

 Unfortunately Pawpaw had some health issues, so he and Manah had to miss the mass and official party but were able to come celebrate with us a little in the evening. Sebastian loved bouncing this ball with Pawpaw!
