Well, this week has been wild and crazy but lots of fun. It seems that we cannot help but do major house projects over spring break. So even with a 2 month old, this year is no exception! Austin built a corner garden with the girls and then everyone (including visitors!) helped lay sod in the half of our yard formerly filled with weeds.
*Edited to include "garden" photo and carnival photos
Mariana sports "big pigtails" in honor of Aunt Karen, Jake and Jared visiting
Thanks, Jake, for helping!

The garden...this new one has a nectarine tree in the middle and flower seeds planted (hopefully to bloom in a month or two) as opposed to Austin's other garden with a grape vine and pepper plants.

We want photos of the garden! Let's see the chile peppers and everything else! I'm so jealous of people who have a normal-sized back lawn - unlike us and our scrunched-up, steep-sloped, weed-infested backyard that forms puddles and has ZERO room for a REAL garden. I can't even put a play gym in the yard because it would have to sit on an incline and topple over.....most likely onto my wimpy garden.
Agriculturally, I have to live vicariously through people like my Dad and Austin.
