Ready for action

Now that Mariana has given up the bike with training wheels, guess who is ready for it? She actually had a fall in the driveway this weekend which busted her lip and front teeth. At least now her head will be protected. She is also a much more timid rider after the fall!

4 Months Old!

I cannot believe it! He is growing so fast. He weighed in at 17lbs and measured 26 3/4", which put him 80th % in weight and 90th% in height. He was a trooper for the shot too!


He loves to put his hands like this...Austin is sure it is a sign of holiness and that he will be a priest. ;-)

A little haircut

It had been a while, and Gloria's hair with all the curls was getting nightmarish to brush in the morning. So I finally did it!

Mariana has been wearing these shoes since Sunday. She says they make her "feel like a big girl." So cute.
And, she asked Austin to teach her to ride her bike without training wheels, so stay tuned for the results of that soon!

A nice invitation

Some sweet friends of ours whom we have not gotten together with in a while invited us over for an Easter egg hunt and lunch today. We all had a great time.

Tears for Jesus

Austin took the older two girls to Stations of the cross yesterday while I stayed with the little ones napping. At the end, Mariana was crying. He asked her what was wrong (thinking it was her hurt knee), but she grew very quiet. He asked if what happened to Jesus made her sad, and received a timid little "Yes." The Deacon called them "Holy Tears."

She has such a tender heart. I sure love that girl!

Spring!

I love it! The weather has been so beautiful we have been spending lots of time outside...hence the light blogging. I have been taking laundry out to fold just so we can be outside more without me shirking my duties. ;-)

We made a quick trip to the park on Wednesday, which included Stephen's first swing, and he really enjoyed it!
