Ready for action

Now that Mariana has given up the bike with training wheels, guess who is ready for it? She actually had a fall in the driveway this weekend which busted her lip and front teeth. At least now her head will be protected. She is also a much more timid rider after the fall!

More Gloria-isms

Hanitizer (aka hand sanitizer...I am actually surprised some marketing guru hasn't come up with that one!)

Miggie-Maggie-Moos (for the ice cream shop Maggie Moos)

Pigtail girls

They actually let me fix their hair today! (and I actually had my hands free for a moment!)

4 Months Old!

I cannot believe it! He is growing so fast. He weighed in at 17lbs and measured 26 3/4", which put him 80th % in weight and 90th% in height. He was a trooper for the shot too!

He loves to put his hands like this...Austin is sure it is a sign of holiness and that he will be a priest. ;-)

A little haircut

It had been a while, and Gloria's hair with all the curls was getting nightmarish to brush in the morning. So I finally did it!

Fun in the Sun

Big sisters

New spot

Stephen's new spot at the he can see everyone. We will start solids later, not yet.

Studying princess

Mariana looked so cute sitting here studying our print of the Last Judgement. Can you guess what the girls found in it? I am not telling!

The Reach

He is starting to really be able to reach for toys. It still takes a lot of concentration, but he can do it!

Easter shoes

Mariana has been wearing these shoes since Sunday. She says they make her "feel like a big girl." So cute.
And, she asked Austin to teach her to ride her bike without training wheels, so stay tuned for the results of that soon!

And Allia, because she was feeling that my photo taking was a bit lopsided. :-) Little ham.

A nice invitation

Some sweet friends of ours whom we have not gotten together with in a while invited us over for an Easter egg hunt and lunch today. We all had a great time.

Happy Easter!

Yay! The joy of Christ's resurrection is here!

Preparing yesterday...

Making the Crown of Jewels

Daddy had some good helpers, which was great since he had to do a lot more of the cooking than usual!

We missed the egg hunt after mass, so we will do our own here after naps. Here are the girls discovering their treats this morning before mass

And after mass

Fun with baby

He loves to chew on fingers, especially Manah's

Tears for Jesus

Austin took the older two girls to Stations of the cross yesterday while I stayed with the little ones napping. At the end, Mariana was crying. He asked her what was wrong (thinking it was her hurt knee), but she grew very quiet. He asked if what happened to Jesus made her sad, and received a timid little "Yes." The Deacon called them "Holy Tears."

She has such a tender heart. I sure love that girl!

Good Friday

By His wounds we are healed.

As I announce that dinner is almost ready...

Gloria: Mommy, I can't eat vegetables.

Mommy: Oh really?

Gloria: Yeah, if I eat vegetables I will choke and die.

Hmm...nice try, Gloria! :-)

I love it! The weather has been so beautiful we have been spending lots of time outside...hence the light blogging. I have been taking laundry out to fold just so we can be outside more without me shirking my duties. ;-)

We made a quick trip to the park on Wednesday, which included Stephen's first swing, and he really enjoyed it!
