Visit from the K family!

We had so much fun with our wonderful friends (more like family) this past weekend!
The two littlest girls hit it off and were such sweet buddies.

It was hot at the park so we headed to the pool afterwards!
Our sweet little Godson who grew so much!
We introduced them to Just Dance. Mary wasn't sure at first, but she quickly became a huge fan and a great dancer!

Some of the girls searched out matching mass dresses. So sweet!

We took a scooter ride to spoons while the little ones napped
What a lineup! We can hardly wait for our next visit...we just wish it didn't have to be a whole year (We'll see!).

Swim meet weekend at Lito and LIta's

Allia and Mariana had an out of town swim meet this weekend. With our activities winding down a bit, we were able to stay the night Saturday and spend the whole weekend with Lito and Lita. It was so fun!

Summer is coming...

School and activities are starting to wind down. We are all so happy to welcome the slightly less busy days of summer! We had some friends over this afternoon and made a trip to the pool. The kids had a great time.
A little later this guy was playing around on the piano and started playing chords and some really nice music. Allia was impressed (and so was I!), so she gave him an impromptu lesson. We may have to start him in lessons earlier than planned. He obviously has some natural talent!

Happy Mother's Day!

We have been so busy that I just wanted a relaxing day at home with my family, and I was so blessed to be able to have exactly that! RE is finished, and we had no other obligations. Austin made my favorite Sangria and a yummy lunch and dinner, the kids made chocolate covered strawberries, and I made a lemon meringue pie for our dinner with Pawpaw and Manah. Allia, Gloria and I rode scooters to a nearby ice cream place, and Allia treated me to ice cream. We played games and hung out together. It was a lovely day! I am SO thankful to be blessed with such an amazing family whom I love so much and who loves me too.

Graduation!

Tia Becky graduated with her Master's on Friday night, and Austin and Allia were able to attend. We are very proud of her. She is definitely gifted with the art of teaching/education!

Piano recital and last RE class

Gloria and Stephen had their first piano recital with their new teacher Sunday afternoon. They played very nicely, and Gloria received awards for solo festival and a surprise "attitude of gratitude" trophy for always smiling and being thankful at her lessons!

Then we scurried off to our last day of RE classes. Sebastian cried when he heard it was our last week. Sweet guy. I love this class too and will miss it...but I am also looking forward to some low-key Sunday afternoons with my family! My co-teacher gave the Pentecost presentation at the end of class to finish off the year. So beautful!

Swim Meet

Gloria and Stephen had a swim meet Saturday. Austin went with Gloria in the morning and officiated all day. The rest of us went to watch a few of her events, drop Stephen at the meet so he could swim the afternoon session, and then we went to Lito and Lita's for the rest of the day. We had a nice visit, went to mass, had a yummy dinner with Tia Nana and the boys, and then came home. It was a busy but great Saturday. Both swimmers made some great accomplishments including Stephen getting a ranked time in his 50 Butterfly! :)
After an hour and a half in the car and then 30 minutes waiting to see Gloria swim, we needed to run off some steam. This shaded hill worked quite nicely!

Distric Robotics

Mariana went to the District robotics competition yesterday with her team. Since she was the youngest on her team last year, all the others moved into the Senior division without her. We tried putting her on a younger team, but she really missed her previous one. They accepted her back and just let her skip the competitions she was too young to attend. Thankfully they were able to get permission for her to compete in this one. And....they got First Place!
