Fall fun

One of the joys of fall... the leaf pile!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We went to Lito and Lita's new house for a very nice Thanksgiving gathering with family. Lita and Auntie Carol prepared and amazing meal. The kids had a blast with their cousins (and so did Emmie!). It was a lovely day for all.

 

 

 

Emmie loved chasing Julian, and Julian loved being chased by her. It was so cute!

 

Swim Meet (again!) and Aggie football!!!

The kids had an intrasquad meet Saturday. Unfortunately we have an illness running through the house and Mariana had a "minor" oral surgery Friday that proved to be a little more major than we realized. So Allia and Stephen were the only 2 swimmers. Stephen did an amazing job and got some very good times.

Then, Lito came into town for a birthday celebration of Aggie football with Austin, Tio Quique and Aunt Summer. Austin was able to get some tickets from a friend of ours, so Pawpaw, Allia, Mariana, Gloria and I were able to go too!

We were in the "cheap seats" but Austin deemed that we had the better view at halftime because the Aggie band formations are actually better from way up high!

 

So many people left during the 3rd quarter that we decided to go down and fill in some of the empty spots near Austin and company during the 4th quarter. They definitely had the better view of the football game!

It was really fun to experience Aggie football together, especially since I have not been to a game in about 18 years. :0 We really need to do that more often!

Swim meet and Puppy Homecoming

Allia and Gloria had a gulf meet in the Houston area this weekend. Austin took them, and he, Gloria and Lito (who was there watching them swim also) left for a bit to go pick up the puppy. The girls swam amazingly well. I was so proud of them, and we were so excited to have them and this new little bundle home that we even made a special welcome home dinner.

 

 Cecilia kept saying, "Puppy is so cute!" It was adorable!

Renaissance Festival

I have always wanted to take the kids to the school days, but it always comes at such a busy time of year. Luckily for them a sweet friend had 3 extra spots in their vehicle and offered to take the 3 girls. They were so excited and had a great time despite unseasonable heat and humidity!

 

 

 

 

 

Avocado Girl

Cecilia often requests avocado. Sebastian and Mariana were both fans at this age, but Cecilia definitely takes the cake. She eats one almost daily, and if I forget to offer she will open the fridge, point to the veggie drawer and ask for it!

Halloween/All Saints' Day

Yet again I managed Halloween photos but no All Saints photos. :/

Allia and Gloria dressed up for the swim Halloween party. A group of Allia's friends dressed up as the coaches and had a lot of fun with it.

We had a great time at the All Saints Party that our friends host every year. The problem is that the company is so enjoyable I forget to take photos! We had John Bosco and his dog (using the wolf costumes from the afore mentioned party), St. Sebastian, St. Anastasia, St. Therese, and an angel. Maybe next year...
