Monster Truck Show

Lito invited all the boys (Austin, Uncle Matt, Stephen, Sebastian, Julian and Benjamin) to a monster truck show this weekend. They had a great time and are now playing monster trucks all over the house!

 

 

What a father of 7 does on his day off...

Austin had the day off and spent it building a swing set with the kids, which we received from a friend.

 They were so excited when it was complete! Our backyard is practically a park of it's own now!

Happy 11th Birthday, Gloria!

We opened family gifts and enjoyed a nice relaxed day together after all the crazy busy celebrating we've been doing here! Then today, Manah and Pawpaw bought Chick Fil A for lunch as an extended celebration and since one of their gifts didn't arrive until then. Gloria is polite, thankful, affectionate, driven, assertive and helpful. We can't wait to see what God has in store for her this next year!

Climbing

Anastasia climbed out of her crib at just over a year old and has basically been climbing ever since. She climbs to the top of the swingset at the park, the lightpost on our street (see post below)...everything! We decided it was time to harness Anastasia's climbing skills and test them in a safer environment (hoping the neighbors don't call CPS after seeing her at the top of the light post!). So after her party guests left yesterday, Daddy rushed her off to the TAMU Rec center to try out the climbing wall. She was completely amazing, and we are thinking this is something we should continue with her. He was so impressed that she scored a Daddy date at Chick Fil A!

Anastasia's Birthday Party

Anastasia wanted a jumping party, but we opted for an arts and crafts party at home. She has such sweet friends. It was a joy to host them, and Allia was a great helper as our artist-in-residence.

Happy 7th Birthday, Anastasia!

We are so happy to celebrate our sweet girl. Anastasia is full of engergy, determination, and is a social butterfly. She also has a sweet, caring side especially for her momma and baby sister. She is so helpful and can do just about anything she sets her mind on.

Opening family gifts

 

 

 We had shipley's for breakfast and played with her gifts. Then Allia and her friend worked on the cake for the party the next day (with lots of input from Anastasia).

Gloria Birthday Party

We had Gloria's birthday party at Altitude. She had lots of friends to invite, and thankfully they all made it. It was quite a crowd, and everyone had lots of fun (and exercise!). It was a great way to celebrate our Gloria!

 

 

 

More Christmas

James, Karen, Jake, Lairen, Jared and Brianna stopped by New Year's Eve so we could celebrate together. We had lunch, opened gifts and played for a bit.

And Anastasia wowed everyone with her climbing skills. This girl was born to climb!
