Physics Field trip

 We had such a huge group of homeschool friends turn out for this one. It made it even more fun. The kids loved it and learned a lot!

Our Nursing Student!

 Allia was accepted into the Blinn Nursing School with hopes of joining the Ascend program to eventually also be an Aggie nursing grad. We are so proud of her and happy for her. She is a hard working girl!

Happy Thanksgiving!

 We enjoyed the break from our usually busy schedules to cook some yummy stuff, spend time with family and friends, do some shopping, see a movie (Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes...it was so good!), watch the Aggie/LSU game, and accomplish a few things around the house. It was a much-needed break!

Desserts ready to go to Lita's house with us except for the chocolate pie in the fridge! A friend gave us some duck eggs, and I heard those are good for baking so we have special duck egg desserts this year. Somehow I forgot to take photos while we were there. :/

Time together at home that afternoon. We had 3 sickish ones who stayed home from Lita's, so it was nice to spend time all together!

We watched the Aggie game (the fun part...we had to leave before the 4th quarter when they died out!) at Allia's place since she has cable and her roomies were out of town.

And some of us had a belated birthday Sushi date Sunday.

Now it's back to the rat race until Christmas break!

Barn Dance 2023!!!

 I have been looking forward to this for months! I just love watching these kids dance, and Gloria has such a great partner this year. We were able to get a few tables with some friends from church and also invited some of the kids' friends, which always makes it more fun.

Aggie Game Day!

 The Lil' Wranglers had an opportunity to dance in front of Kyle Field before the game today (and then attend the game together!). Both kids danced, and it was our first time (a sneak peak before Barn Dance) to see their new routines for the year. It was crowded and tough to get good photos but I was able to snag a few and get a few from other team members. What a fun event!

Football Finale

 Sebastian had a great flag football season. His team finished second in the tournament, he learned a lot and had so much fun. We are so proud of our guy!

Some little moments

I can't remember what Manah was showing her, but they looked so sweet all snuggled up together.

Cecilia liked Allia's costume (3 blind mice with 2 of her friends), so she made her own to match! Somehow I missed getting photos of All Saints' Day, but we had lots of celebrating both liturgical and with friends. And we concluded the little triduum of feasts with Latin All Souls' Mass which is one of my favorites!

Austin and I have been trying to have "porch coffee" time in the morning just to chat and hang out for a few minutes before our busy days start. He was out of town, so I had a guest join me with her schoolwork. It was a beautiful morning, and we sat out there for quite a while!
