Volleyball!

 Anastasia joined the homeschool volley ball team (BV Mustangs) in the spring. They finally had their first game of the season, and she played really well. So proud of our girl!

And this was an awesome play in which she dove under the ball right up against the net and was able to hit it over. The other team was so surprised they didn't even touch it, and her team got the point!

 We had a fun night of dancing and dinner with lots of wonderful friends!

Nothing like a game of ball tag before the dancing starts! LOL!

4-H Awards Banquet

 There was a yummy dinner, and all the kids won awards for their record books from last year, plus Sebastian won the Rookie award. Sadly Gloria had to miss due to work.

Annual 4-H Cake Show

We started making fondant decorations 2 days before the show, baked the day before, and put together/decorated the day of. This was the least stressful cake show prep ever!

Birthday Gathering at Lita's

We went to Lita's to celebrate the August and September family (and a close friend or two) birthdays. There are many. The food was yummy, the cousins had fun swimming, and the adults enjoyed chatting.

Manus Dei

Stephen made it in to the elite Altar Server group (Manus Dei). We are so happy for and proud of him. This was his first mass to serve and wear his new surplice.
