Swimming with friends

The younger kids were invited to a friend's house to swim and had a great time. It was so nice for me to have a bit of time at home to catch up after a busy day of driving yesterday!

Camp Time!

Annie has wanted to go to a sleep away camp, especially since she remember the older girls going to Challenge Camp. But there isn't a group here that goes anymore. She heard Carolyn was going to a Catholic girls' camp in Rockport, and we signed her up hoping to join the carpool from FW since it is a long drive.

I met the carpool in Waco Monday to send her off.

Not many photos from actual camp since they aren't allowed to have their phones (which I love!).
There was illness in the family who was supposed to drive them back. So I ended up going to pick up the 4 girls in our carpool to bring them back here. Then I met a dad who brought the other 3 back to FW. It was a looong day (7 1/2 hours of driving) but so worth it. I loved hearing the stories, giggles and singing on the way home!
Of course we made a Bucees stop on the trip and ran into some camp friends who had the same idea!

Redheads

Summer video game time has been popular with Mariana being around more. I couldn't help getting this photo of my 3 redheads playing together!

Volleyball Swim Party

We hosted a swim party for the JH Volleyball girls (with the help of Pawpaw and Manah renting the pool). They had a lot of fun, and I enjoyed being the party hostess. What a very sweet group of girls!

Happy Father's Day Roadtrip Edition

We left on Father's Day to go visit the K family for a couple of nights (after celebrating with Austin and Pawpaw the night before).

Max made some awesome BBQ for us!

Big waterpark adventure!

Piano Recital

Sebastian and Cecilia had their annual piano recital tonight and played beautifully. They received several awards for their hard work this year. And Mrs. Hessong ordered cookies from Anastasia's business for all of her students and was so sweet to honor Anastasia at the recital!

Other Happenings

 A volleyball fundraiser

Time with little people (we kept up Mariana's babysitting job while she was in Ireland and really enjoyed having these cuties over twice a week!)

I can't believe I have 2 kids in Europe this summer at the same time!
A few photos from Mariana's trip...

She's finally back just in time for a quick lunch visit with Uncle James and Aunt Karen
4-H State Roundup for Gloria

Summer is off to a busy start!
