Happy 3rd Birthday, Gloria!

Gloria, you are such a blessing to our family. We all enjoy your bubbly, joyful personality. You are such a smart, advanced little girl. You never cease to amaze us. We love you so much!!!

Gloria picked a bag of candy at HEB and had cinnamon rolls for breakfast, then we spent the morning cleaning house, which she did enjoy helping with (I know, not very birthday-like but it gets better I promise). Then we had a snack of cupcakes and headed to Chuck E Cheese (her choice) for lunch and games. After nap we played with some friends outside for a bit and went off to "Miggie Maggie Moos" for ice cream after dinner. I will really miss it when she stops calling Maggie Moos by that name...just a little bit of toddler left in my big three year old. ;)

Gloria's Birthday Party

We found some friends still in town and decided to celebrate Gloria's birthday a little early while we had time to enjoy it with Austin off work! And it doubled as something fun to do New Year's Eve. :)

I took Gloria on a little Mommy/daughter date to pick out the stuff for the party. She really enjoyed it, and even talked me into a snack at the bookstore(right by the party store)...one of her Manah traditions...while we were out.

A little dance...

Lots of smiles...

And some very sweet gifts

And yes, she wore her sister's Hello Kitty sunglasses on her head the whole evening.

Roller Skating

Trying out the Christmas gifts...Mariana was only allowed to skate holding my hand. ;)

Super Stephen

The girls tied this cape on him, and we all thought it was too cute...especially Stephen himself. He really enjoyed it!

The Sand Box/Table

They love it!

Stephen wasn't so sure, so he played with a trashcan instead (which had just been cleaned ;) )

Family Christmas

On Christmas Eve we did our baking, including some gingerbread men for the girls to decorate

A little story with Daddy

Christmas morning (Allia earned this new bike for Christmas by working extra hard to play the recital piece that she and Austin performed together)

Ready for Mass

Back for gift opening... This gift had a note from Jesus talking about thankfulness and a bag of sand inside. The girls didn't get it but tried hard to act thankful for a bag of dirt! Then he showed them that it goes in the box they have been working on...a sand box/table!

Gloria has been Mommy's little helper lately, and especially loves sweeping. She was so excited about this broom!

A big girl doll from Lala

The soon-to-be newlyweds

Lita was here too, which the girls were SO happy about.

The girls saved their HEBuddy game points to send off for a new insulated lunch bag for Daddy. It arrived just in time!

Another favorite gift from Lala!

Christmas is exhausting!
