Thanksgiving...

We have so much to be thankful for!!!
I only got 2 photos of the whole week (both of Cecilia, of course!) because we spent the week fighting some flu-like bug. But even though it wasn't what we had planned, the week was full of grace and things to be thankful for. The sickness caused us to hunker down and just spend a lot of time together, even if much of it was watching movies and such. Austin, myself and the older girls all pitched in where possible and still managed a pretty yummy thanksgiving meal that Pawpaw and Manah were brave enough to come share with us! Cecilia enjoyed it, as you can see.

And some of us finally made it outside to enjoy a bit of the beautiful weekend weather. Cecilia was hilarious as the older kids escorted her around in this car. She was jamming to the music, waving and just really hamming it up. Precious!

Intrasquad Swim Meet

Our swimmers had their next intrasquad meet this past weekend and swam so well!

Swim meet

Allia had a swim meet this past weekend. She swam both days thanks to some friends of ours bringing her Sunday. She hasn't done that in a while because Austin decided he cannot give up his whole weekend...too hard to make it through the next week. I think Allia decided the same thing after this meet. She was so exhausted Sunday and didn't swim nearly as well as Saturday.
Here is one of her Saturday events, 50 Freestyle. (She dropped time in all 3 events that day!) She is in the bright green suit with pink cap.

Leaps and bounds

Cecilia is growing fast. She now has 4 teeth and is taking up to 7 steps, usually from somebody to me! I really need to try and get a video...

11 Months Old and a 3rd tooth!

Amidst a busy week of celebrations, mass, etc., Cecilia cut her 3rd tooth (first top one). And she turned 11 months old. I cannot believe we only have one more month until our baby turns 1. We all agree that time is going by way too quickly! She is balancing really well, cruising around and can even take one or two steps between objects/people.

She was having so much fun shaking this balloon like crazy!

Halloween and All Saints' Day

For the first time ever, Austin went with a friend of ours and our oldest kiddos to trick or treat after the vigil mass. They were supposed to only go on our street but ended up going a lot farther!

Then we had a lovely All Saints' party the next morning at which I completely forgot to take any photos. :/ So sad! I guess this just brings home the reason we don't usually participate in Halloween...it makes things too busy and distracts from the real feast day!!! :p And did I mention that we now have way.too.much.candy.?
