Steubenville Lonestar

 Allia and Mariana had a wonderful time this past weekend at a youth conference with their youth group. I am so thankful the world is up and running again so they can have these awesome experiences!

 We met some friends at a water park relatively close by. A fun day was had by all!

Little Ballerina

 Cecilia loves to dance and perform. She almost always dances around the living room when Allia practices piano. So we decided to let her take a class this summer. She loves it, of course!

Happy Father's Day!

 We had a great weekend celebrating our fathers. We made lots of yummy things for Austin and had some nice time with him. We finished off with our traditional dinner with Pawpaw and Manah of wings and yummy sides.

A visit and a job

 We have a newly hired lifeguard in the house. I am so excited for Allia. She has had small jobs before (teaching a piano lesson, TA for a teacher at One Day Academy, babysitting), but this is her first "real" job where she works shifts and gets a regular paycheck!

In other news, we had an afternoon visit with Aunt Karen. Cecilia was so happy to see her. It was really sweet. We all enjoyed it!

Happy (LATE) Birthday!

We had a much belated birthday celebration for Anastasia and Sebastian. With their birthdays in January and March, it was still too risky to have a gathering. So I promised them we would try for a summer party. We were so blessed to celebrate with amazing friends and swimming fun. It may just be the only swim birthday party these two ever have!

High School teen night

Some sweet friends started this group of high schoolers (and a few honorary middle schoolers) to meet once a month for prayer, dinner and games together. They were so sweet to host at their house, but we decided to take over for a couple of the summer months and host at our pool and clubhouse to give them a break. It was so great to watch all of these wonderful young people having so much fun together. We can't wait to do it again next month!
