Swim meet, Jiu Jitsu Tournament and Barn Dance, Oh my!

 We had quite a Saturday with Austin off to Houston for the big Jiu Jitsu tournament for Stephen, Anastasia, and Sebastian. Cecilia and I stayed here and went to Gloria's summer swim team meet. Then Saturday evening the teens had a barn dance at some friends' house.

We discovered that summer swim team is a lot less competitive and a lot more laid back than what we were used to with our club swimming. Gloria did great and enjoyed being one of the faster swimmers!

The BJJ crew had some tough competition. The boys didn't place, but Anastasia recieved first place in her division and won a samurai sword.

The older girls were so excited about this dance. They had a great time and can't wait to do it again when the heat of summer dies down later this year!

Needless to say, Sunday brought some much-needed rest!
